Draw & Tell: Issue 018
Hi everyone!
This week I have continued working on the pencil art for the next Roblox book. I am almost finished the pencil art for book 4 and will be completing the final art over the next few weeks. Ps- book 3 Obby Challenge will be in Australian stores from November 1st.
The highlight of my week…
However, the highlight of the week was watching my two youngest children, Simeon and Madeline, perform in the musical The Lion King Jr for their school!
I am very proud of my kids. They and their classmates have worked so hard, rehearsing twice a week after school for the last 6 months or so. I was so impressed with what everyone achieved by working together.
It’s very similar with children book publishing- it isn’t a one person job! Often the spotlight is focussed on the author and illustrator. However, behind every book there are lots of unsung heroes who make their contributions to the final product.
